Loden – a natural material with unique properties

Loden is made from 100% virgin wool from South German sheep – mulesing-free, sustainably produced, and without chemical additives. The traditional fulling technique creates a dense fabric that is windproof, water-repellent, breathable, temperature-regulating, and pleasantly warm. Loden is robust, durable, and offers exceptional comfort even on cold winter days – a natural material with unique functionality.

Interchangeable softshell chest panel

The coat features a practical softshell chest flap that protects the sensitive chest and belly area. Dachshunds and small dogs, in particular, are more exposed to splashes, dirt, and moisture from the ground due to their shorter stature – the chest flap provides reliable protection in these areas. A particularly convenient feature is that it can be washed separately or replaced with a spare chest flap. This ensures the coat remains ready for use even when part of it is wet or in the wash.
