Leopold's – FINEST FOR DOGS – Our Story
2022: Founding
In 2022, Leopold's - FINEST FOR DOGS was founded with the idea of offering suitable accessories for dachshunds and small dogs. Like for many other dachshund owners or lovers of smaller dog breeds, our search for suitable clothing, dog beds and accessories for our dogs turned out to be difficult or even impossible. Too short, too long, too wide, poorly made - nothing seemed to fit. Until we came up with the idea of simply doing it ourselves. So Leopold's - FINEST FOR DOGS was founded in 2022. With Leopold's FINEST FOR DOGS there is now a dog shop that is specifically aimed at dachshunds and small dogs. All sizes are tailored to the three different dachshund sizes: rabbit, miniature and standard dachshund.
2022: Introduction of the Loden coat
We focus on sustainable, top-quality products that are 100% produced in Germany and delivered over short distances. In the same year we were founded, we introduced our Loden coat. Here, too, we used the purest, finest new wool. The Loden coat is 100% handmade in Germany, from the material to the production.
2023: Introduction of the flight bag for dogs
Airlines have precise requirements for transporting dogs in the aircraft cabin. We have developed a flight bag for dogs that meets exactly these requirements. We are particularly proud of the flight bag because it is made of the best materials, is OEKO-TEX certified and is also functional and stylish.
2023: Moving to our new office
In 2023, after just one year, we had grown so much that we were able to move to a new office. Our location in the middle of Hamburg allows us to receive our customers on site and present our product range. We have a showroom that enables us to present our products to customers on site if required and upon request.
2024: Orthopedic dog bed
The following year, our dog bed was launched. We managed to design a dog bed especially for dachshunds and small dogs that was made from high-quality materials and offers the highest level of comfort for dogs. Its ergonomic shape perfectly supports the sleeping position of a dachshund. We specialize in orthopedic dog beds, for which we use high-quality gel foam (made from one piece).
2024: Travel Bag 4 in 1
In 2024, our Travel Bag 4 in 1 solution will be available in the shop. A travel bag that couldn't be more practical. We have invented a travel bag for dogs that combines a dog bag, beach bag, travel bed and travel blanket.
