Our story
The idea for Leopold's Finest for Dogs was born out of a very personal desire: to find suitable clothing for our dachshund, Leopold. It was either too short, too loose, slipped, or constricted. Especially for dachshunds with their unique body shape, nothing seemed to fit properly. So we decided to take action ourselves with the aim of making things better.

Loden coat
Our first product was a passion project: a coat that truly fits dachshunds. We measured hundreds of dachshunds, adjusted patterns, and tested materials. The result was a coat made of pure new wool, handmade in Germany.
airplane bag
The first airplane carrier for dogs from Leopold's Finest combines comfort with functionality. It is OEKO-TEX certified and 100% made in Germany.
Relocation
Leopold's Finest has grown faster than we ever expected. With more products, new ideas, and increasing demand, we needed more space. To accommodate this, we moved to a larger office in 2023.

Together with Gmundner Keramik, we've developed an exclusive dachshund collection. Tradition meets design in high-quality bowls, mugs, and containers for humans and dogs.
What began with a coat has long since become much more. Our passion for good design, genuine quality, and small dogs drives us every day. Stay tuned for what's to come.
