Leopold's loden dog coat combines natural materials with functional design. The outer material is made of traditional loden cloth , complemented by a detachable softshell chest panel that reliably protects against wind and rain. Thanks to practical Velcro fasteners, the coat is easy to adjust, fits securely, and offers generous belly protection – ideal for cold and wet days.

Loden – a natural material with unique properties

Loden is made from 100% virgin wool from South German sheep – mulesing-free , sustainably produced, and without chemical additives. The special felting technique gives the fabric its unique properties: wind- and water-repellent, breathable, temperature-regulating , and pleasantly warm. Loden thus offers natural all-around protection, uniquely combining robustness and comfort.

Interchangeable softshell chest piece

A particularly practical feature: The softshell bib protects the sensitive chest and stomach area and can be washed separately or replaced with a spare bib in a different size or color if needed. This ensures the coat remains ready for use at all times – even if one part is wet or in the wash.

This coat was specially designed for dachshunds. With its longer back and secure fit, the dog coat reliably protects the sensitive back area from cold and wet weather. This ensures your dog remains fully protected and enjoys maximum comfort, even in adverse weather conditions.
